- >I would like to transfer a number of files (picture and sound files)
- from Amiga-formatted or MS-DOS formatted disks to my Mac. I have at my
- disposal:
-
- Amiga with HD-floppy, Shapeshifter and Cross-Dos
- Macintosh with PCExchange
-
- So far, all my attempts have been unsuccessful. I can get the files onto
- Mac-formatted disks, and they show up as icons on the Mac, but when I try
- to view or play them, the applications can't seem to find the files.<

- There exists shareware Mac software that can read Amiga AIFF sound files
- and IFF/LBM graphics files. I recommend Ultra Recorder for sound files
- and Graphic Converter for graphic image files. Try dragging the file on
- top of the icon of the application; also, try holding down the Option key
- before issuing Command-O for Open (in many applications this shows all
- files and lets the application try to open files whether it "thinks" it
- can or not).
